Self-Care Practices of Thailand

Thai Theravada Buddhism includes meditation, chanting, and the study of the Buddha’s early teachings to cultivate inner peace, clarity, and well-being.

Theravada Buddhist Philosophy & Meditation

Thai Theravada Buddhism is an ancient cultural and spiritual tradition that spread to Thailand in the 3rd century B.C.E, and plays a significant role interwoven in Thai culture today. The Buddhas teachings emphasize mindfulness, compassion and ethical living as practices for cultivating inner peace, clarity, and spiritual well-being. Through meditation, chanting, and the study of the early teachings of the Buddha, individuals can develop a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.
